i really wanted to address an issue in the thinspo community.
we often see thinspo pictures of people looking super skinny and perfect—but that’s not always the case. i can guarantee those people take hours to find the right pose and angle that makes them look the skinniest, or they might edit their photos.
this is really hard for me to post, but this is the reality of thinspo.
on the left are photos of me completely relaxed.
on the right are photos that i took while posed. see the difference?
what you see online is not always the truth. i’m sure there really are people out there who look that skinny, but they’re not perfect. so don’t compare yourself to every thinspo photo you see. you might never look like that naturally, and THAT’S OKAY. you are valid. you are beautiful. don’t try to achieve the impossible, it’s not real. and most of all, stay safe. you are loved. 💕

I want to be able to look in the mirror and not cringe when I see myself. I want to be able to wrap my hands around my thigh without a problem. I want to see me collar bones. I want the be able to wrap all of my fingers around my wrists. I want a thigh gap. i want to look down and not have a double chin. I want people to look at me and say “I wish I had a body like hers”. I want to be able to go to the store and only buy clothes in size small. I just want to be beautiful.

just because you’ve lost weight or you’re skinny / thin doesn’t mean you can fat shame people!! remember how it felt when people called you fat!! don’t be the one to make someone else feel like that!! be nice!!

I’m just never hungry
I am so full I could never finish this
Junk food makes me sick I don’t want it
I don’t need to eat I’m skinny so I’m gonna drink tea curled up in a ball and be hella aesthetic
I can’t eat more than a handful of food binges are impossible for me
I never overeat I just can’t eat more once I’m full
Eventually it will be true
